When should I start shopping for my dress?
In order to assure you can get the dress of your dreams, 12 months before your wedding is the recommendation if possible. Dresses can take 6-8 months to arrive. Dresses in stock ship out and arrive in less than 10 business days. Sample sale gowns are taken home same day of purchase. Please also consider several weeks for alterations to be completed if needed.
Do I need an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
YES! We are by appointment only and take only one bridal party at a time. We are only in the boutique when we have appointments, if you show up without an appointment you might find the boutique closed. You can make an appointment here on our website under Book Now, or via call/text!
How long are bridal appointments?
At Layah’s, bridal sessions are 1 hour.
What is the price range of dresses?
Dresses in our boutique start at $1,300 and go up to $4,000. We always have our sample sale going on which is $999 and under (while supplies last.)
Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?
We encourage you to bring inspirational photos! Check out our Instagram page or under the designers tab of our website for a sneak peak of all our dresses! We have heels to try on, but you can bring your own if you’d like!
What should I wear to my appointment?
Your comfort is the most important! Always wear what makes you feel the most comfortable. Wearing skin tone undergarments is encouraged because it will assure nothing will distract you from the dresses being tried on. All of our dresses have built in cups that mimic a bra, making a bra unnecessary during the try on process. Dresses are designed to look and feel like the best pair of spanx you’ve ever worn, so wearing shape wear is also unnecessary unless you want to!
Can I return or cancel a dress order?
All dress orders are FINAL sale, designers have a zero-tolerance cancellation policy. Once the deposit is made, the order is final.
How many guests can I bring to my appointment?
We know that shopping for a wedding dress is an incredible experience, and it will be a special memory you hold onto forever. Bringing along loved ones that share your same bridal vision is important! Having an entourage that will support you and your dress decision can keep you on track and make all the difference! Remember that it’s your experience, and having a lot of voices that don’t share your vision can make the experience overwhelming and unsuccessfull.
